About the position
- Write great insightful reports about the software and IT services market,
- Lead local consulting engagements for ISV, IT service providers, investment funds,
- Contribute to multinational consulting projects,
- Support IT vendors in their Go-to-market strategy,
- Advise end user organizations in the digital transformation journey,
- Crunch numbers to contribute to our company rankings and forecast,
- Represent PAC at leading events and in front of customers,

Your profile
- You are an experienced IT Industry Analyst with 5+ years experience as an Analyst / Senior Analyst,
- Alternatively, you may be an experienced IT journalist or an experienced IT professional / Consultant implied in strategy & vision and you want to become an Industry Analyst / Consultant,
- You can demonstrate a solid knowledge and expertise with an in-depth understanding of the market in at least one of our focus topics (analytics and artificial intelligence, cloud & infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital transformation & IoT, business application software-related services),
- You are intelligent and dedicated,
- You have distinctive analytical and conceptual skills,
- You have solid writing and presentation skills,
- An excellent command of the English language (written / spoken) is essential. Ideally, you will have written thought-provoking market reports and analyses,
- You work well as part of a team but can also be autonomous on projects and are able to multi-task,
- You have been involved in conducting market analyses in the IT industry – especially in at least one of our focus topics,
- You have experience in project management and delivering consulting engagements,
- We are open to any suitable candidate that can demonstrate a strong USP.
